Shooting Sports Club
Situated on more than 130 acres in East Granby & Windsor, Connecticut, the Hartford Gun Club is the oldest gun club in America — home of the Hartford Rifle Club (founded 1864) and a descendant of Samuel Colt's Hammerless Pistol Club. From casual recreational shooting to serious competition, there's a place for everyone here.
Our Facilities

Trap & Skeet
4 Trap fields and 4 Skeet fields with automated machines and voice release systems.
Indoor Pistol Range
9 climate-controlled lanes open daily from 9 AM to Midnight.
Outdoor Ranges
50, 100, and 200 yard rifle range, outdoor pistol range, and action pistol pits.
Sporting Clays & FITASC
36 traps, 100 target Sporting Clays and FITASC courses. Targets change monthly.
Archery
3D target archery course set in natural terrain with a shared pattern board area.
Training Programs
Pistol certification, skeet & trap classes, youth programs, and private instruction.

From pistol certification required for your CT permit, to Skeet and Trap instruction, to private coaching and youth programs — we offer training for every skill level.
