The best FITASC and Sporting Clays practice facilities in New England. FITASC is an acronym for FÉDÉRATION INTERNATIONALE DE TIR AUX ARMES SPORTIVES DE CHASSE. It's close to Sporting Clays in open fields.

50, 100, and 200 yard rifle range, outdoor pistol range, and action pistol pits. HGC has one of the most complete bullet facilities in CT. From our indoor range, to our 4 action pits, our outdoor range and our rifle range, we offer challenges to every ability.

10 climate-controlled lanes open daily from 9 AM to Midnight. In our indoor range, members and their guests may shoot everything from .22lr to .45acp including Pistol Caliber Carbine rifles. No bottlenext cartridges are permitted.

Spacious and comfortable clubhouse overlooking the shooting facilities. Television and fireplace for the enjoyment of our members and guests.

Outdoor rifle up to 200yd and up to .50 cal

We feature four full-time Trap fields with the capacity for nine during events. We're the annual host for the CT State Trapshooting Championship as well as the location for the CT Trapshooting Hall of Fame.

Point and shoot only at designated targets. Nock an arrow only when on the shooting line. Never dry-fire a bow. Releasing the string without an arrow can damage the bow and cause serious injury. All bows must be placed on the rack or otherwise made safe before anyone goes downrange to retrieve arrows. Do not stand directly behind someone who is pulling arrows from a target. Before pulling an arrow, check behind you to ensure the area is clear. Inspect bows, strings, arrows, nocks, rests, and other equipment before use. Damaged equipment must be removed from service. Broadheads are prohibited unless specifically authorized for a designated activity. Use eye protection, finger tabs, arm guards, and chest guards, when appropriate, while shooting. Closed-toe shoes are required. Loose clothing, jewelry, long hair, and drawstrings must be secured away from the bowstring. Static shooting only. No movement while shooting. Spectators must remain behind and to the side of the archer actively shooting.

Our classroom for members and licensed instructors. Our licensed and insured instructors offer classes regularly including Pistol Permit Classes and other classes such as low-light, red-dot, rifle and tactical shotgun.

Our Indoor range features 10 heated ports for all year comfort.

We have 4 action pits where people can enjoy tactical shooting, holster drawing, steel or paper targets and a more dynamic shooting experience. Pistol caliber only in our pits please. No rifle calibers.
